Stonemason in Peterborough & Cambridgeshire

Fully restored historic curtain wall below castle battlements

Peterborough is within easy reach of our base in Bourne. Its historic stone buildings, and the limestone villages to its west, are some of the best in the region.

We carry out heritage repairs, boundary walls and stonework for builders here, and work on period properties all the way down to Cambridge.

Local stone, local character

Barnack's historic quarries supplied stone for many of the region's churches, and the villages west of Peterborough are built from the same limestone.

Further south, towards Huntingdon, St Neots and Cambridge, period houses mix stone with brick, so repairs often mean stone dressings, plinths and quoins on brick buildings.
